The role of Finance Learning at General Motors is to act as a strategic partner with both GM Learning and the GM Finance organization. We provide the integrated processes necessary to help talented people develop their capabilities and competencies to accomplish Finance learning objectives, primarily through the facilitation of training. In this capacity, the Senior Financial Analyst will:

- Plan, Schedule, and Coordinate training Sessions
- Facilitate and assist Finance Learning activities both internally and with outside vendors
- Analyze and Report Financial and Training Data (includes Actual, Forecast, Budget, Variance Analysis, Course Completion Evaluations and other Metric Tracking and Reporting, Cost/Benefit Data)
- Creatively think through the current Finance learning process and identify best practices that can be leveraged to gain efficiency
- Develop and Implement Action Plans, Track Progress to Completion, Eliminate Roadblocks
- Focus on Customer Needs and Satisfaction (Create and Compile Survey Feedback on Performance, Follow through to Completion)
- Network, Collaborate, and Facilitate Multiple Project Teams
- Liaise / Coordinate with GM Learning
- Attend bi-monthly GM Learning Council meetings

Qualifications
BASIC REQUIRED

- Bachelor's Degree in related discipline or equivalent experience/training in Project Management / Training settings

- Ability to prioritize assignments/projects and multi-task within restricted time constraints

- College Degree plus one of the following: Series 65 (or willingness to obtain), Series 66, Series 7/63. Additional certification (CFP, CPA, J.D., several others) preferred.
- At least 2 years of industry experience (preferred) with clean compliance record.
- Authorization to work in the US without restriction in duration.

- Senior planners with a desire to improve their ability to serve friends and former clients.
- Individuals beginning a career in financial advisory who plan to build an ethical practice with minimal overhead. Recent graduates of applicable undergraduate programs may apply and will be considered for a Junior Advisor role.
- CPAs or attorneys seeking a turnkey platform and expert resources in order to offer holistic financial advice as part of their practice.
- Career-changers who have business experience and demonstrated analytical, business development, and client relationship management skills.
