Financial Analyst (Philadelphia, PA)

We're currently looking for a Senior Financial Analyst for one of our clients in Center City, Philadelphia.
Position Responsibilities:
· Business partner with IP&S Technology management teams providing financial planning, analytical and decision support
· Develop key performance & cost drivers, monitor against targets, and identify risks and opportunities to drive future operating performance
· Conduct core FP&A responsibilities including annual planning, monthly forecasting, management reporting, and variance analysis
· Development and management of allocation models
· Capital planning and analysis of strategic investments and business case support
· Direct responsibility of monthly close activities
Key Qualifications:
· A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting (required)
· +5 years experience in finance, accounting, or strategy in a corporate environment, with a minimum of 3 years of variance analysis, forecasting, budgeting and reporting experience.
· Previous experience in a global publicly-traded company preferred
· Excellent financial analytical skills combined with the ability to summarize, present and verbally communicate complex financial information to a diverse audience
· Advanced skills with Excel and Powerpoint required. Experience with enterprise accounting, reporting and forecasting systems strongly preferred (SAP & Cognos a plus).
· Ability to effectively support remote management and business partners
· Other key traits include the ability to collaborate with and influence both peers and senior leaders, a relentless focus on speed and quality, able to multi-task, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
· Strong work ethic, with ability to work extended hours as required

Job Summary: The Relationship Manager position will be responsible for the review and underwriting of new and existing clients and the monitoring of current client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, including modeling of various stress case situations and relationship management skills. The ability to analyze financial statements and forecast future performance is required.
Essential Functions:
Monitor existing client performance, including the review of covenant compliance and monthly reporting, overseeing relationship operations (funding, amendment requests, etc.) and annual review.
Works independently on standard transactions.
Seeks assistance from Credit Officer on more complex transactions.
Communicate with Senior Management regarding, the activity and status of existing clients.
Ability to render decisions within established service level commitments and policy guidelines.
Credit oversight and management; prepare periodic analysis of financial statements and financial reports.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Analyze financial statements, tax returns and ancillary commercial credit reporting documents, including; D&B, Lexis, etc.
Strong knowledge of financial spreading systems, financial modeling and ROA/ROE systems.
Prepare underwriting document highlighting salient risk and mitigants of the transaction.
Excellent communication skills- will be communicating with clients and prospects.
Fluent in all Microsoft office applications and TValue.
Education and Experience:
5+ years experience in commercial banking, investment banking, financial consulting or private industry financial management.
Undergraduate degree required.
Graduate degree preferred.
