Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused, highly organized and detail-oriented Financial / Cost Analyst to work in the N. A. corporate headquarters of a global organization. This position will report to the Chief Financial Officer.
Working in an exciting, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, the Analyst will have the opportunity to assist the CFO and Director of Finance in performing detailed cost and financial analysis and reporting for a manufacturing organization.
The Analyst will develop and interpret detailed cost accounting information and make recommendations regarding the efficient utilization of resources and the proper accounting for transactions. They will exercise discretion and creativity to work details on assignments of a varied, diverse and difficult nature. This position offers an opportunity to learn and grow with the company and assume more senior level responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Analyzing and interpreting financial results for a global portfolio, service contracts (variance, P&L impact, ROI), and "what-if" analysis.
Providing accurate and timely financial information to management/internal clients (decision support, business planning, management ratios).
Provide information and insights about expenses allocation and determine profitability margins for transfer pricing.
Developing profitability models for new projects and products.
Providing key business and financial guidance to the organization (budgeting and forecasting for global projects).
Identifying and handling critical financial and business issues (contract review and negotiation, portfolio analysis).
Assists in reviews of financial and internal controls to determine whether such controls are adequate to meet management objectives and ensure the safeguarding of assets; recommends security and system control procedures.
Other duties as assigned from time to time.
Qualifications and Requirements:
5-7 years experience in Cost and Financial Analysis.
Bachelor's Degree with a major in Accounting, Finance or related area. MBA a plus.
Knowledge of principles and techniques used in conducting cost, financial and systems analysis.
Knowledge of cost and financial accounting principles, practices and procedures.
Knowledge of principles and techniques used in conducting management studies, system analysis and financial analysis.
Strong understanding of budgeting and forecasting.
Knowledge of internal control systems and procedures.
Skill in preparing complex management reports on a timely basis.
Excels at hands-on data extraction, manipulation and analysis.
Strong proficiency in MS Excel and database skills, specifically with data structures and relationships, pivot tables and modeling.
Personal Attributes:
Demonstrated experience in establishing a professional and cooperative customer-service approach to relations with internal and external customers.

HCL Americas is seeking an Operations Analyst to support a vendor engagement with a large Financial Services Institution.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing and providing approval or rejection for a consumer lending portfolio. The qualified individual will provide support/review/approval or denial assistance to the clients' personnel in support of loan transactions.
The candidate will also work closely with other units within the Operations team to quickly resolve any issues to prevent potential loss, mitigate risk and help provide top tier customer service in relation to handling the transaction volume.
This individual will be responsible for taking independent actions and following regulatory guidelines, along with specific Operating procedures to ensure compliance with the Operations governance protocols.
The analyst must meet predetermined productivity and quality goals, as well as ensure departmental service level metrics are met.

4) Monitor the RPST mailbox to ensure that appraisals and appraisal invoices are forwarded to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.

6) Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment with professionalism, courtesy and tact
7) Basic PC skills - MS Word, Excel, web based applications
8) Utilize multiple bank systems concurrently
9) Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
10) Ability to work overtime, as determined necessary by management
11) Saturday/Sunday scheduling may be required (on a rotating or fixed basis)
12) Must be flexible in work schedule due to possible system disruptions, high volumes or unexpected staff shortages

Job Description:
Working with site management team ensures accurate and timely recording and reporting of all costs associated
Prepare month end accrual journal entries and complete account reconciliations and analysis on all related general ledger accounts.
Prepare monthly reports summarizing project expenses and capital investment approvals to date for Wilson Compliance and Sustainability Program project management team.
Work with indirect purchasing and payables to ensure all project related invoices are correctly approved and processed.
Ensure accuracy of period end financial information and investigate/explain any material discrepancies
Review all Capital Appropriation Requests (CAR's) for accuracy.
Validate depreciation, payback, IRR and NPV calculation on individual CAR's before submitting for approval.
Track progress of CAR approvals. Assist Engineering and Operations in expediting CAR approval.
Track all CAR's and prepare monthly reports detailing project capital expenditures to date.
Prepare project cost estimates for monthly Latest Outlooks (LOs), annual Latest Estimates and annual Targets (budgets.) Prepare ad hoc reports as needed quantifying project impacts on absorption and manufacturing variances.
Job Requirements:

SUMMARY
The primary role of the Financial Analyst, Finance Operations is to assist the Business Manager with overall financial statement review, ensuring accuracy and making recommendations via AJE, etc. The Financial Analyst, Finance Operations completes the initial review of all transactions that impact the P&L by providing on-going monitoring and reviews of information, completing analytical reviews, and providing commentary to the Business Manager. In addition, the Financial Analyst will prepare daily / weekly / month end metric reporting to individual programs. In addition, prepares, as needed, reports to assist the programs in their understanding of the daily / weekly / monthly numbers. High level review of AR and assist in analysis / review / reporting.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Reviews and prepares, as needed, journal entries and assists in business manager required monthly reconciliations.
- Reviews income statements throughout the month to ensure accuracy and completeness at month end. Assists with the preparation of the internal budget/financial target measure summary.
- Assists in analyzing and reviewing the monthly financial results against established targets.
- Assists in preparing the complete set of financial statements, trended and actual versus established targets. Analyzes and reviews trended financial results.
- Completes and coordinates various audits as assigned.
- Assists Business Manager with the annual company budgets, financial targets and forecast. Reviews all budgets/reforecast completed to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assists in analyzing financial information, trends, and data.
- Assists business manager with ensuring Sarbanes Oxley compliance with all assigned areas and other audit requirements.
- Performs other duties as required.
Requirements:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or commensurate experience in related field and one to three years of experience in an Accounting related position
Other Skills and Abilities:
Experience with Hyperion and Oracle preferred; Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the field; Excellent computer skills, data entry speed and accuracy, and related office equipment ; Excellent written and oral communication skills; Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word.

Two $150,000 closings pays you $6,000. Some loan officers close 5-6 loans per month. Everybody should close at least two.
Reverse mortgage advisors can use our free lead system to contact seniors - these are leads where the seniors have requested information - not cold calling.
Financial planning advisors are expected to contact others in the industry to market this program. Most planners are unaware of the benefits available to their clients, and your job is to get in front of them to help them understand how it works.
